News from the “Jeune fille group” in France
August 12th 2024 – day 1
We started our journey in a flight from Oporto to Toulouse at 6h30 am. When we arrived in the city we were scared because of the hot weather.
During our sightseeing , we noticed that the city was a little bit dirty. In the “centre ville” we ate a traditional “petit-déjeuner” at “Café Manel”. This name sounded a little bit Portuguese so it brought some memories. Then we ate there a wonderful and tasty croissant and a baguette, the main French breakfast. After we get our energies charged again, we walked towards to the city centre where we saw several terraced Cafés. We ordered some refreshing drinks and crêpes.
At the end of the day we walked through the streets and we admired the gracious buildings. We ended the day eating our dinner at the train station “Gare de Toulouse Matabiau”.
