We embarked on our journey from Porto to Luxembourg, arriving with just a few hours to explore the city. Despite the short time, we managed to visit the city center and discover some of its most fascinating and historic places.
What stood out the most? The Europa Experience at the European Parliament.
The Europa Experience centers across the European Union offer an immersive way to understand how Europeans collaborate to address their most significant challenges. Using state-of-the-art multimedia tools, visitors can explore how the European Union functions, its impact on daily life, and how individuals can contribute to shaping its future.
These visits are entirely free and available in all 24 official EU languages. So, what can you expect at the Europa Experience?
We navigated a map of Europe, uncovering the achievements we’ve made and the challenges we continue to face—united in our diversity.
We then took a seat in an immersive cinema, embarking on a journey through Europe, its institutions, and learning how, together, we can tackle Europe’s challenges and shape our common future.
The highlight? Experiencing a day in the life of an MEP (Member of the European Parliament) through an augmented reality experience.
It was truly a day full of learning and inspiration.
