Teve início a mobilidade interna do projeto Erasmus+ “A Peaceful Life with Nature in a Sustainable Future”, que reúne participantes de Portugal, Bulgária, Roménia e Turquia numa semana dedicada à sustentabilidade, à partilha de boas práticas e ao intercâmbio cultural.
Após a sessão de acolhimento e dinâmicas quebra-gelo, que promoveram o espírito de grupo, os trabalhos começaram com uma deslocação à vila de Joane, onde os participantes visitaram uma associação local que promove a agricultura biológica através da vermicompostagem.
A vermicompostagem é uma técnica ecológica que utiliza minhocas para transformar resíduos orgânicos num composto natural e nutritivo, contribuindo para uma agricultura mais sustentável e reduzindo o impacto ambiental. A visita foi acompanhada pelos professores Anabela Correia e Hélder Ribeiro, que explicaram o funcionamento do projeto e os seus benefícios.
Durante a tarde, realizaram-se dois workshops:
- O primeiro, dinamizado por três alunos do 12.º ano no âmbito da disciplina de Química, centrou-se na produção de tintas sustentáveis, demonstrando criatividade e consciência ambiental.
- O segundo, orientado pela professora Filipa Pereira, focou-se na produção artesanal de sabonetes, utilizando ingredientes naturais e técnicas ecológicas.
Mais tarde, os participantes fizeram uma caminhada até ao Parque de Calça-Ferros, onde se realizaram jogos e atividades ao ar livre, promovendo o convívio e o contacto com a natureza.
O dia terminou com um convívio muito especial na escola, com o apoio das famílias de acolhimento, onde não faltou animação, partilha de músicas, danças e gastronomia tradicional, proporcionando uma verdadeira imersão cultural e reforçando o espírito europeu que caracteriza o programa Erasmus+.
Start of the Internal Mobility Programme Erasmus+ – “A Peaceful Life with Nature in a Sustainable Future”
The internal mobility programme of the Erasmus+ project, “A Peaceful Life with Nature in a Sustainable Future,” has begun, bringing together participants from Portugal, Bulgaria, Romania, and Turkey for a week dedicated to sustainability, the sharing of best practices, and cultural exchange.
Following the welcome session and ice-breaking activities that fostered group spirit, the programme commenced with a visit to the town of Joane, where participants explored a local association promoting organic farming through vermicomposting.
Vermicomposting is an eco-friendly technique that employs worms to transform organic waste into a natural and nutritious compost, supporting more sustainable agriculture and reducing environmental impact. The visit was guided by professors Anabela Correia and Hélder Ribeiro, who explained the workings of the project and its benefits.
During the afternoon, two workshops took place:
- The first, led by three Year 12 students as part of their Chemistry studies, focused on producing sustainable paints, demonstrating creativity and environmental awareness.
- The second, conducted by Professor Filipa Pereira, centred on the artisanal production of soaps, using natural ingredients and eco-friendly techniques.
Later, participants embarked on a walk to Parque de Calça-Ferros, where they engaged in outdoor games and activities, encouraging social interaction and a connection with nature.
The day concluded with a special gathering at the school, supported by host families. The event was filled with entertainment, music, dancing, and traditional cuisine, creating a truly immersive cultural experience and strengthening the European spirit that defines the Erasmus+ programme.
